Filing a DMCA Infringement Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on the "Why Is My Firestick So Slow" website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information. Please note that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you materially misrepresent that content is infringing your copyright.

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: Provide a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material: Identify the material that you claim is infringing and its location on the "Why Is My Firestick So Slow" website. This must be a specific URL or link to the material you claim is infringing. General references to the site or specific pages are not sufficient.
  3. Your contact information: Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement of good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury: Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Electronic or physical signature: Provide an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the user who posted it.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated Copyright Agent. Please note that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you materially misrepresent that content is not infringing the copyright of others.

  • Identification of the removed material: Identify the specific URL(s) or other unique identifying information of the material that "Why Is My Firestick So Slow" has removed or to which access has been disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury: Include a statement that, under penalty of perjury, you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information: Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  • Electronic or physical signature: Provide an electronic or physical signature of the user.
